Her long hair is down, but it isn't styled, so it's just a straight waterfall of blonde strands, and she's got her usual three-piece loungewear — shorts, a cropped shirt, and a cardigan. She's got a little towel for herself, because the princess isn't going to lie down on the grass and all, but he is free to.
The first thing she does when she sees him, though? Keep up with her promise. With glowing eyes and her finger to her temple to indicate she's doing something, she uses her own view of the colors in their surroundings to share to his brain, he can use his own eyes with her own color perception. [Scott fully stops dead in his tracks as Sophie works her powers, and all at once, the filter of red that he sees the entire world shifts into something far more colorful. Normal. A sharp intake of air breathes through Scott's mouth as his lips parts, head turning in all directions as he tries to take in everything as is-- as it should be. Blue with green, brown with black, red-- when there only should be red, and it's nearly overwhelming.
It takes Scott a moment to actually respond, still reeling from the new images before his eyes. Okay, maybe not new, but.
He looks over at Sophie. Her blonde hair. The way her clothes actually match together instead of different shades of red. Still overwhelming.]
I... I haven't seen anything like this in months.
[And he won't, ever, without extra assistance. But. For once, he doesn't focus on that bitter feeling.]
(She can tell it was a lot, and maybe she should have given him a moment to settle, but eh, he seems happy.
Let him live a little, as she taps the space next to her. Moving some stuff in his brain to make him feel more comfortable is an option she isn't taking, he can work it out himself.)
[A small acknowledgement of what she's done for him and actually drawing a small smile from Scott as he starts walking over to her. He's still taking in the sights and just how vibrant the world actually is, his mood already far better compared to just a few minutes ago. So, it's without fuss that he plops himself next to Sophie, leaning back on his hands as he stares up at the blue sky.
Not red. Like some sort of ominous foretelling of things to come.]
(Oh. A tiny little smile. She'll take it, it's better than the never-ending grumpiness that he gives her. She's even going to bite back a quip about how he's making her love not having gone through adolescence as much.

Right? The Five-in-One would definitely go partying on a night like this. Too good-feely to stay home.

[Her clone sisters, right. She mentioned about breaking from the hivemind or whatever a while back, but despite everything, Sophie probably still misses them and stuff. And she obviously likes partying a lot on her own, if given by all the pool parties she started.

[Why do telepaths do the fingers against the forehead thing anyway? Is that necessary?? But Scott snorts, deigning her question with that reaction before he looks back up at the sky with her. Being out here, seeing everything in color, it's hard to feel mad. Honestly though... he's been working on that a little more since Nate woke up. The complicated feelings of being Scott Summers will never go away, but he's shifting a little away from the mindset that he thinks everyone hates him.

So, he shrugs, though his gaze is turned away from her.]
