[He's not sure if he fully believes Dodger about that, but he just sighs and leaves it alone for now. Maybe him getting distracted by a statue is better than him focusing on Esikko-- yeah that's definitely better. Hopefully this doesn't lead to Dodger getting punished though by the House or whatever, he'd feel responsible for that.]
Well, that sucks. I really haven't heard of a suit that's... always active like that.
[MORE FROWNING but at least this time is more in concern for Dodger. This is something abnormal and it's affecting a fellow mutant so of course he has to think about. At least this feels more clear cut than everything else.]
Too bad we can't just call the House or whatever and ask. [...] Maybe that lady that runs the Red Cardinal would know more. [Small snort.] Sometimes I wonder how helpful telepathy would be in a place like this.
It's been like this since I showed up. And no one else has ever heard of it either... usually whatever people come in with fades after a while, right?
[He is nodding along to the rest, even though he doubts the staff is actually going to tell them much of anything. Although the bit about telepathy makes him grimace.]
I'd rather waste my whole life spinning my wheels here than deal with a telepath. Lucky you don't have it or I wouldn't talk to you.
[Although he says 'lucky' like he knows how subjective that is.]
[He's definitely going to be thinking about this more later!! HE CARES OKAY-- also it would be nice to point the blame on his suit more than Dodger himself for some of his shitty behavior.]
What's wrong with telepaths?
[...Okay, he could think of a couple reasons why Dodger wouldn't want someone to read through his thoughts, because the older mutant is a little more of a bastard than he initially lets on. But look, he's figured that out and he's not a telepath. Would he still be wanting to be around him if he knew more about Dodger's less than pleasant side in the beginning?

Probably. Right.]
