[Sitting outside his door is a smart-looking folded box of black board sealed with string looped about a stylish orange faux gem clasp. A note is stuck under the lid. Tucked within orange packing paper, a certain gray block of a machine aptly named the BoyToy has been loaded with several older games (see: tetris, super mario land, pokemon red/blue, link's awakening, metroid 2, etc) for instant play, relying on both wired plugin and batteries. Took a fair bit of research for him to find out what was popular back in Scott's time. The teen's over a decade "behind" him in general timeline. Of course the peacock had to tweak things, so Scott might find a naughty 8-bit game sitting inside... There's also several sets of neat ovular mirrors with dark backing, which can be hung or stuck on walls or doors, and a large chunk of ruby quartz (or whatever the resort's stand-in material is) on a stand. Once set up, they'll give Scott a way to practice bank shots in his room without hopefully damaging his stuff. Custom order, but Aces can get away with that kind of stuff.]
I hate saying I'm glad people are stuck in this shithole with me, but I'm glad you're here with me. If you weren't, my life would've been a lot worse. I won't be able to repay you for saving me that night, Shades. Thanks for reaching out to me and staying by my side until I was better. Having someone here close to my age, with superpowers like my world, who knows what it's like to be a hero, makes me feel better. I like spending time with you, kicking your ass when we spar, fucking you until you're breathless, and winning when you get snarky. Someday, I wanna meet you in the future and see what kind of leader to the X-Men you've become. Don't ever let either of us down, Shades. Or I'll fucking murder you.
[Bakugo giving him stuff that appeals to his more 'normal' side and his training side... it really means a whole lot to him. The 'Gameboy' is definitely going to be used right away and though his room is small, he's definitely going to figure out a way to format stuff so that he can practice using his powers even in his room. It's much appreciated.
His letter makes him both snort and smile, but when he sees Bakugo next, he might just have to tug him into a fierce sort of kiss.]
