[One good thing about his visor? Once he finds the 'correct' mode, he doesn't have to worry about it switching to one of the weird ones that aren't part of his... 'normal' stuff. So it should just be happy blasting when Haru gets here. It makes Scott definitely less anxious or awkward, because he's mostly comfortable with using his regular powers and it's just the extra stuff that he's trying to navigate around still. Yeah, he doesn't want to mess up-- he wants to be dependable at a time like this, especially with Haru dealing with the loss of her teammates.
But with his visor squarely on his face and the teen dressed in simple training clothes, mostly a plain shirt and sweatpants, he raises a hand to Haru in greeting as she walks in.]
Hey Haru. [Small beat.] Pretty cool, right?
[He taps the side of his visor. She might also notice that there's some targets already ready to blast or hit on the other side of the wall, along with a couple of training dummies nearby.]
[ haru's wearing a cat-print dress and overall seems... morose as she approaches. for obvious reasons. but she does smile when she sees scott -- always happy to see a friend, and her smile grows as she sees his visor ]
My! It's quite stylish.
It seems you're all set up already. Would you like to demonstrate its power for me?
[ she has to admit she's a little excited for this, despite present circumstances ]
[She's definitely a bit more somber than what he's used to seeing, not that Scott blames her at all. Honestly, he's pretty bummed himself about Akira and the others since they were friends too, but he knows that Haru was even closer to them. Teammates. They've been through a bunch of shit together. He's never had to deal with losing a teammate, mostly because they never were here in the first place, and maybe it is a mercy in some ways.
But pushing all that aside, Scott smiles, trying that much harder to look and act normal. At least blasting stuff with his now controllable powers is a genuine nice distraction.]
Of course. Although, quick question, sure you don't have a name or picture of anyone that you wanna place on the targets?

[Just for fun.]
