Well he's probably just a teleporter, right?

[He honestly doesn't mind the bluntness - he's fairly blunt himself, and he likes being around people that speak their mind. Easier to gather information about them, and easier to trust what they say if they're not used to filtering themselves.]

[A bit more stretching before Dodger feels ready, and he beckons for Scott to hit him with whatever he's got.]

Don't worry about keeping the blasts short. If it hurts, I'll just teleport out of it.

Yeah, pretty much.

[Huh... so does this mean that because Dodger has multiple mutant powers, each power is kind of limited in its own way? Guess it makes sense. Not that it makes him think any less of Dodger, but good to know. Scott thinks it's still impressive that he can control different abilities at all.]

But okay, if you say so.

[He dials the output of his visor to something minimal, something he knows that would be equivalent to a solid punch or whatnot. He's sure that Dodger can handle that much with how beefy he is-- and right, teleporting out of the way. But with another nod, Scott reaches over to the button on his visor, before expelling a low-powdered optic blast straight at the older man.

It's fast, bright red and continuous, almost humming with power even like this.]

[Dodger is watching him carefully while he sets his blast up - okay, that dial must control the output, and the button lets the blast through. Good to know... not that he'll ever need to use the visor himself, and it's not like it's a secret he could sell, but Dodger's always looking for new information even if he can't think of a use for it.

He tenses when he sees that blast coming, but it's honestly a little underwhelming. It hurts, yes, and he does end up staggering and teleporting out of the way a second later, but he probably could have handled it for a while longer if he really wanted to.]

Alright. That didn't feel great.

[He looks no worse for wear, although he is rubbing his chest uncomfortably.]
