He watches as Yosuke slumps into his seat. Well, it sort of makes him feel better that he's not the only one confused right now. Whatever the case, he can tell that Yosuke is feeling a little nervous or awkward about all this-- and so the mutant lets out a small exhale, the sound at least coming off more patient than annoyed. It's just letting a slightly more 'leaderly' part of him take over, even as that urge to wrap close to his friend doesn't disappear.]
Yeah, I'm cool with it. Wouldn't have suggested it otherwise. And I've been influenced by this place before, yeah, but probably the first time I've been trapped like this.
[And with that, he takes the remaining half of the choco banana. Chomp. Thanks man, it's good.] But if you don't wanna do anything, I can probably find a way out or find a loophole.
[Even if Yosuke's lips are getting more appealing by the second.]

[ but it's not true that he doesn't want to do anything, is it? he knows himself well enough to know that. what he doesn't know is why it's always so much harder with a friend than with a stranger. what is he unsettled about? ]

[ ah, there it is. that's his problem. back home he never thought past it being not-okay. now that he can, he's just flailing in the deep end. ]

[ he rubs his neck, uncertain. when he thinks about it, it's been a handful of experiences he's either walked into or was a little out of his mind for. this it's completely unexpected, and without his suit influencing him, he feels too aware… there's a quirk to his mouth though. not the self-mocking one that creeps up in these situations, but a simple gladness that scott would hear him out. and chomp the banana.
which was really distracting in the way that reminds him that he really, really doesn't mind doing something. he just… maybe he just needs to know: ]

Hey man, we don't have to do anything if you don't want to, that's fine. I'm not a creep.
[Sure that attraction is still strong. And he wants to kiss Yosuke, the draw of his lips enticing and he wants to lean in, but also he isn't here to make anyone uncomfortable, not like this. Honestly, it's only when he arrived in this resort that he became fine with touching people like this and vice versa.]
...I like kissing and stuff. [Some honesty here feels needed.] Start with something like that? But like I said, I can figure something else too.

I know, man. [ he tips his head, bashful smile equally grateful. he'd already thought as much from their time together but scott really is a good guy. no wonder… yosuke's glad yu had people like this with him in this place. ] Thanks.
[ when he thinks about it, that's… about everything that choked him up about the situation. anything more is beyond this—besides, he wouldn't have left an opening if he really had a problem with it. that much he's sure of. so he twists in his seat, leaning into the space scott just put between them and catching one of scott's cheeks against his palm. ]
Kissing's good. I'm not too bad at that. [ he tips forward, scanning scott's expression, trying to figure out the best way to tilt his head— ] And I've kinda been wanting to kiss you like crazy. So it works.
[ —then decides to just go for it because, what the hell. he's pretty sure he's subjected scott to enough of his confusion. he might as well lean into something he's sure about. he minds this, kissing someone he's not committed to, less than he did a few months ago. it helps that he likes scott enough for it to feel nice, but there's something else. a strange sort of pleasure that makes him more insistent.
without realising it, both his hands have cupped scott's cheeks and it's suddenly very easy to tip his head just right to tease at a deeper kiss. ]

A smile starts to tug at the corner of his lips as he hears Yosuke, that growing confidence building in his voice. He decides that he likes this better than all that uncertainty that was in him just earlier. Though that 'leader' bit is flaring in him right now, sometimes being a leader is letting someone take their time, get their shit in order, while waiting. At least they can wait.
Even though he really is drawn to Yosuke, even though he wants to kiss him badly.
Anticipation grows as Yosuke cups his other cheek, hands guiding his face and he easily moves along with it, head tilting just enough so that they can easily slot their lips together in a light kiss, but one that deepens rather quickly as he parts his mouth against Yosuke's. Not quite submissive, but willing and wanting, for now letting still letting Yosuke lead because he wants him to be comfortable with this first.
Scott's at least had months to deal with these feelings.]
